The people did stay home, and in that time not only did they discover their internal worlds, but many also uncovered the striking, whispering capital city they had forgotten.
Meet Dimitris Karampatakis of K-Studio “Unless you have seen the houses of Mykonos, you can’t pretend to be an architect,” Le Corbusier pronounced after visiting the island in the 1930s. Dimitris Karampatakis, of K-Studio, who has spent every summer on Mykonos since childhood, was inspired by the island’s simple but spectacular architecture to create some of the hottest hotels, villas, and beach bars anywhere in the Mediterranean.
