Arrive in Oslo, Norway's vibrant capital city. Spend a leisurely afternoon strolling around the city's beautiful marina and exploring its hip bars and restaurants. For airport proximity, spend the night at the airport hotel and catch an early flight the next morning. |

Day 2 EMBARKATION - LONGYEARBYEN |
Take a domestic flight to Longyearbyen to board an expedition ship and embark on a journey-of-a-lifetime. Enjoy great views of the imposing mountains atop this picturesque seaside village. This cruise ship will be your home for the next eight days. |

Days 3 - 9 Western Spitsbergen |
Cruise around the magical island of Spitsbergen, on a search for wildlife. The expedition will cover western Spitsbergen as well as stunning fjords, and outlying islands to the north. From polar flora to immense glaciers, the natural landscape here is just as varied as the wildlife. Each expedition is full of surprises, so there is no fixed itinerary. Polar bear viewing is more likely here than almost anywhere else. Coming across a walrus haul-out is also a moment you won’t forget. Days are slow but exciting; spent experiencing different activities, such as polar plunge or zodiac cruising. |

Day 10 Disembarkation - Lonyearbyen |
Time to say goodbye to your shipmates. Disembark the expedition ship at Lonyearbyen and set off to a unique city tour. Explore this tiny Norwegian metropolis, savour delicious, far-flung food and try dog-sledding;it will truly amaze you! Settle in at your cosy hotel for the night. |
