Head out to Nyungwe Forest Reserve, and on the way visit King's palace and Butare National Museum, to gain detailed insight into Rwandan cultural and political history. Let the early morning breeze boost your energy levels, and head off to take a hike into Nyungwe Forest in search of chimpanzees. On the way, you will come across various other primate species plus lots of forest dwelling birds. Take a lunch break at the lodge, and off you go again for an amazing canopy walk. Late in the evening, it's time for dinner and relaxing in the serene African nature, or at the resort spa. |

Day 4 Gisenyi |
Immerse yourself in the rain-forest in search of Colobus Monkeys. Once you spot one, be ready to experience playful interaction with this black-and-white unsual primate, as they are very social in nature. After lunch, drive to Kibuye on the shores of Lake Kivu. A wild roller-coaster road that tumbles through lush plantain fields and relic patches of misty rainforest offers sweeping views over the blue waters, with the nearby Virunga volcanoes as a spectacular backdrop. Arrive in Gisenyi and check-in your luxury lodge for dinner and overnight. |

Day 5 Ruhengeri |
Spend a leisurely morning and enjoy lunch on the way of a scenic drive to Ruhengeri, that brings you to the base for Gorilla trekking at the Volcanoes National Park. Head off to the Volcanoes National Park in search of the famous awe-inspiring huge primate. Return to the lodge for a relaxing lunch, dinner and retreat. Alternatively, you may spend the day at leisure, at the resort spa. |

Experience the magic of the African jungle in the morning mist.
