ITINERARY

Day 1
Arrive Kathmandu
Upon arriving in the capital city of Kathmandu, a vibrant and enchanting metropolis where ancient traditions and bustling modernity coexist in perfect harmony, you will unwind in calm oasis of the Dwarika’s Hotel and later enjoy a guided tour to explore Kathmandu Durbar Square, its ancient temples, palaces squares and witness locals offering libations and prayers.
Day 2
Heritage Tour in Kathmandu
Get to know Kathmandu with an expertly guided tour where you will explore Patan Durbar Square and the exquisite Patan Museum, admire carved temples and ancient architecture and immerse yourself in Newari heritage and culture.

In Patan you will experience the cultural peculiarities unique in this part of the world, encountering Patan Kumari “The Living Goddess” and partaking in a private blessing ritual. A visit to the charming 16th century Newari village of Bungamati and Khokana will follow, where you can explore woodcarving shops, traditional looms, the Rato Machhendranath Temple and witness how this region thrives on agriculture and their unusual famous mustard-oil harvesting process.
Day 3
Kathmandu - Lukla (2860m) - Phakding (2610m)
Hiking Details: 9km, 3-4 hours round trip

A Twin Otter flight will transfer you to Lukla, the most renowned mountain airstrip in the world! During the flight you can enjoy the views of the rugged foothills that give way to the snowline of the Himalaya; many of the world’s highest mountains.

Upon arrival we meet our Sherpas and after a cup of tea we pick up the trail out of Lukla. Surprisingly, this high-altitude trek is short and easy, allowing for acclimatization to the altitude.
Day 4
Phakding - Namche (3440m)
Hiking Details:12km, 6-7 hours

On today’s hike, the Dudh Kosi river leads us through picturesque Sherpa villages. With each step we take, we come closer to the heart of the Himalaya, entering Sagarmatha National Park, a place of great spiritual and ecological significance. As we reach the crest of the switchbacks, the first glimpse of mighty Everest takes our breath away.
Day 5
Namche - rest/acclimatization day
Hiking Details: 8km, 5-6 hours round-trip

Welcome to Namche, the heart of Sherpa culture and the gateway to the mighty peaks of the Khumbu region. This is a day to rest and acclimate, but also a day to explore and appreciate the beauty of the Himalayas.

A hike up to the Sagarmatha National Park Visitor’s Center and Museum will reward you with a breathtaking 360-degree panoramic view of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and many other peaks.
Day 6
Namche (3440m) - Tengboche (3858m)
Hiking Details: 10km, 4-5 hours

Today we will experience the beauty of the Mani Rimdu Festival, within the spectacular mountain scenery and spiritual center of Khumbu. This is a unique and unforgettable experience. Immerse yourself in the rich Sherpa culture, meet the monks, and witness the colourful music and dance performances that honour the teachings of Buddhism.
Day 7
Tengboche (3858m) – Pangboche (3855m) - Dingboche (4412 m)
Hiking Details: 11km, 4-6 hours

We follow the path down from Tengboche through the rhododendron forest to Deboche and cross an exciting bridge with the roaring Imja Khola beneath our feet. A gradual climb takes us to the village of Lower Pangboche. We are now in the heart of the Khumbu, with spectacular views across to Ama Dablam.
Day 8
Dingboche – Loboje (4931 m)
Hiking Details: 8km, 5-6 hours

We climb up to the ridge behind Periche and stay high, mesmerised by the views of Tawoche and Cholatse, until we reach the tea houses at Dughla. The top of the climb is marked by a series of stone monuments to commemorate the climbers that never returned from their expeditions.
Day 9
Loboje (4931 m) - Everest Base Camp (5486 m) Gorakshep (5180 m)
Hiking Details: 15km, 7 hours

Today we will reach Everest Base Camp and Gorakshep. This is a long but rewarding day! Trek up the valley following the rocky moraine path, view the icy glacial pond and icebergs below the Khumbu glacier.
Day 10
Gorakshep (5180 m) – Kala Pattar (5545 m) – Pheriche (4243 m)
Hiking Details: 4km, 5-6 hours

Today we trek from Gorakshep to Kala Pattar before returning to Loboje. We make an early morning climb to Kala Pattar to see the amazing sunrise views. From Kala Pattar you can marvel at the panoramic view of Mt. Everest and many other mountain peaks such as Mt. Pumori, Mt. Lingtren, Mt. Khumbetse, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Thamserku and many more.
Day 11
Pheriche to Namche
Hiking Details: 20km, 6-7 hours

The descent is both invigorating and serene, providing a sense of accomplishment and a chance to reflect on your remarkable adventure in the heart of the Himalayas.
Day 12
Namche to Lukla
Hiking Details: 13km, 6-7 hours

Today’s journey back to Lukla presents stunning views of the surrounding peaks, valleys, and the Dudh Koshi River flowing below. Once more you have a chance to reflect on this incredible journey and cherish the memories of your adventure in the Himalayas.
Day 13
Lukla - Ramechhap
We return from Lukla on another breathtaking flight to Ramechhap from where you will be transferred to Kathmandu. During this journey from Ramechhap, you traverse through scenic landscapes, passing through lush green valleys and terraced fields.
Day 14
Heritage tour in Bhaktapur
During our last day in Nepal, we visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square to gain a deep insight into the history and thriving culture of this picturesque city. Kathmandu Valley’s most carefully preserved medieval city, Bhaktapur, is an architectural delight.

In the afternoon we will explore Pashupatinath Temple, the oldest and holiest Hindu temple in Nepal. A visit to Boudhanath Stupa will follow, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and spiritual center for the Tibetan exile community in Nepal.
Day 15
Departure
Departure from Kathmandu marks the end of your memorable journey. As you make your way through the bustling streets to the airport, you carry with you your sense of accomplishment, the cherished memories and cultural experiences, and the warmth of Nepalese hospitality.
