The Imperial City of Hue
Meet in Hanoi and take a short flight to Hue. Lunch in a colonial French restaurant under the shadows of the Citadel and head to explore the UNESCO listed Imperial Forbidden City. Today’s bike ride will take us through peaceful rice fields and over small riverside paths before leading us to the poetic Thien Mu Pagoda. We will embark upon our private riverboat and cruise down the Perfume river, all the way to the tomb of Ming Mang. Tonight we will dine with a local family and enjoy the world-renowned Vietnamese hospitality.
Day 3-5
Hoi An
Set out to ride along the banks of Lang Co Lagoon, following meandering paths, passing fishermen and oyster farms. We will head to Da Nang for a lunch at the hippiest new restaurant, and maybe challenge ourselves with a drive along “Pass of the Clouds”. We will visit the singular Marble Mountain, wander through the pilgrimage area and surrender to the unique ambience. We will also visit a local pottery village, take a cooking class and follow a wonderful journey that loops around Hoi An.
