SAMPLE ITINERARY

Day 1
Departing Athens for Delhi.
Day 2-3
Delhi
Delhi is a city rich in monuments and sites. We will visit one of India’s most impressive mosques, Humayan’s Tomb, also Gandhi Museum, and a bustling Sikh temple, the famed Gurudwara Bangla Sahib. Delhi is also where we will visit the first palace on our journey, Leela, set in the city's Diplomatic Enclave.
Day 4-5
Agra
Agra needs no introduction; the home of the hypnotic Taj Mahal. We stay at Amarvilas from where we will enjoy incredible, ever-changing views. We will wander in the gardens of the Taj Mahal, and amble in fascinating Fort Agra. We will slowly end the day at the Amarvilas pool and finally its top-flight restaurant for dinner, from where we will have one more chance to contemplate the enchanting Taj Mahal.
Day 7-9
Jaipur
We will drive through the countryside to famed Pink City of Jaipur. We will discover the Rambagh, home of the last of Jaipur’s rulers, now The Rambagh Palace, a Taj Group property. Also, we will stroll around City Palace, witness the morning awakening of the city on board a hot-air balloon, visit the Palace of the Winds and numerous other landmarks, before our full-of-surprises, al fresco dinner.
Days 10-11
Udaipur
We will fly to lakeside Udaipur, beloved to Indians and foreigners for its beauty, serenity, and intriguing temples. We will explore the flamboyant City Palace, luxuriate in the Udaivilas sparkling pools, domed public rooms, artwork, fragrant gardens and spa, and revel in a modern palace in which India’s maharajahs and maharajas, felt right at home.
Days 12-14
Jodhpur
We will drive towards Jodhpur, visit the temple complex at Ranakpur, before we end up at Umaid Bhawan Palace. This is the last and largest of India’s great palaces, which now serves as a museum, as the home of the old ruling family, and as a uniquely stately hotel. Our palace rooms feature all the luxuries and amenities to expect from a Taj hotel. In Jodhpur we will wander in the Old City, visit forts and tombs, and take a jeep safari through Bishnoi villages.

Back to Delhi and homeward

Arrive in Athens
